President's Changeover 2017

On Wednesday 23rd August, the Rotary Club of Collingwood celebrated its 2017 President's Changeover at Shu Restaurant, Collingwood. The night was a great success in bringing together the local community. Outgoing President Wendy Tang made a passionate speech on the value of leadership and diversity in servicing and supporting our community both locally and internationally. Incoming President Dan Tang spoke about the power inclusiveness and being greatful for the opportunities provided to us in making a difference.       

Distinguished guests of the night included City of Yarra Mayor, Cr Amanda Stone, Rotary District 9800 Govenor Peter Frueh, with partner Anne Frueh, District 9800 Governer-Elect Bronwyn Stephens, and Heritage Cluster Assistant Governor Anne King. Collingwood community partners who made an appearance on the night included the Rotary Club of Richmond, Yarra Jets Football Club, Happy Football Cambodia and Live Wires Collingwood. 

Thanks to all who attended the celebrations and we look forward to many to come. All proceeds of the night will be donated to the Rotary Foundation.
